12 Days of Christmas


Today I constructed a pie and bar graph

  • using a Google Spreadsheet!
  • Firstly I entered my data in the first 2 columns.
  • Them I selected the information and turned it into a bar graph.
  • Using customization inserted a title and the axis titles.
  • Then I repeated this process with a pie graph.

  • The game teaches children to be aware about natural disasters.
  • It also gives hints and tricks about how to survive.  
  • It has an activity that lets you prepare a house, place or room for a volcano eruption, earthquake or tsunami.
I have found there are no minus.
  • This game reenacts the actual situation.
  • It has multiple activities to prepare others e.g. - Are you prepared?, Read the Stories and Get ready for the Big One!
  • At the end of an activity is has warnings about what could happen afterwards.
Today I completed the Awesome Forces interactive game about earthquakes and other natural disasters and then completed the P.M.I chart above.

Angles of a Triangles

In maths we investigated the angles of triangles.
  • First I drew a isosceles triangle
  • Then I cut it out and tore off the corners.
  • I then pieced the corners to make a line. (Doing this I learned that all triangles equal to 180* degrees because a straight is the same as 180* degrees.
  • I then repeated this process with an equilateral triangle.
