How to make Meringue

I am learning to write a procedure that people can follow.

Ingredients
4 Egg Whites
1 Cup Caster Sugar
1 T Vanilla essences
Chocolate (not compulsory)

Method

Step one
Line the baking tray and preheat the oven to 160o.

Step Two
Whisk the egg whites on high until it forms peaks when you lift up the whisk.

Step Three
Add a spoonful of sugar to the egg whites and whisk until dissolved then repeat until the cup of sugar is finished.

Step Four
Whisk in the vanilla essences. Then fold in chocolates not necessary.

Step Five
Put in plastic bag or piping bag and cut a hole in the corner then pipe on swirls on the tray.

Step Six
Put in oven then turn off oven and leave in for 10 min then turn on the oven to 50o for 20 min or until the top is golden.
